Probe into Ramday’s house ransacking demanded.

ISLAMABAD: Condemning the incident of ransacking the residence of deposed judge of the Supreme Court Justice Khalil-ur-Rahman Ramday, a spokesman for deposed chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Athar Minullah, has demanded an inquiry in this regard.

Talking to media persons here on Sunday in front of the residence of the deposed chief justice, he said the lawyers’ community had confidence in the new government that it would conduct an impartial inquiry into the matter.

Responding to a question, he said apart from private engagements in Quetta, the deposed chief justice would also address the Balochistan High Court Bar, adding that his next schedule would be finalised after the end of his Quetta visit.
